Jason Joseph John Graves

My son Jason was killed on an atv on October 16, 2004.

It was a Saturday afternoon when I received the phone call at work that my son was in the hospital fighting for his life. Jason was 7 years old and should never have been allowed on an atv by himself. A reckless decision by my ex-husband led to my son's death.

My son was on the atv and moving at a very slow rate when he turned to wave and smile at his father so that his Daddy could see him riding. In that instant he had turned the wheel while turning his head and the atv rolled over and on top of him. He was taken to hospital and brought into surgery, but his injuries were too much for his small body to endure. My son died that night, and the life of a bright shining boy was over.

We need to make the world aware of how dangerous these "toys" can be... The fact of the matter is, they are not toys, and our children should not be allowed to be on them.

Hopefully together we can make a difference!
